About us

Kashmir Guidance (KG) is an initiative by a group of international academicians/educators/professionals hailing from Kashmir. This is a apolitical and seriously dedicated organization working to help, guide and support the students for international education and exchange; especifically and limited to students of J&K. We offer guidance and mentorship to the students of J&K for applying to various scholarship based academic & research positions (Bachelors / Masters / PhDs / Post Doctorates), internships and jobs both locally as well as internationally. Our International group of resource personals throughout the world are voluntarily providing their services to outreach to our local youth in finding their educational careers.

Mission/Vision/ Values:

We believe education can bring a positive change in the development of J&K. The international exposure can enable students to indulge in learning by acquiring scholarships/fellowships, which will enable them to foster understanding and respect among people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. This is particularly important in the context of the present global and connected economy; wherein our children should be able and competent to participate. All the services are provided free of change and without any external financial support. We value our efforts as SADQA-i-JARIYAH (a continuing charity) and as a moral responsibility towards our people and the country.

Governance/Leadership/Mentors:

The core team reviews the governing documents that guide the group, and find out how you can get involved as a member/mentor/resource person.

Outcomes:

Each year due to our guidance/outreach and mentorship programmes we are getting numerous successful admissions and placements of our youth in World’s top most academic institutions. See the List of our previous selections
